After years of having my favorite beverage daily, it’s pretty sad that I had to end having my beloved beverage. Nevertheless, to end my ringing ears distress, I know that this is something that I ought to do! It was found that the caffeine in the coffee triggers my ears to ring non stop (Moreover, I like to have a strong dose of coffee). Upon ceasing this beverage, I found great improvement in managing my tinnitus condition. Medicine. If you are on long-term medication, you would need to work with your doctor to have a review of the existing medicine which you are having. Smoke. I don’t smoke so this will not apply to me, But if you are a smoker, do note that smoking is also one of the many factors that lead to ringing in the ears. I’m aware that it would be a challenging task for any smoker to quit smoking right away. You can gradually cut down the number of cigarette per day and observe if this helps with your tinnitus.
Lifestyle. We are living in a modern society whereas stress and anxiety seem to be part of our routine lifestyle. However, unmanaged stress can do much harm to our health, including causing ringing ears disorder. Take some time off from your busy schedule to unwind yourself. If you don’t prefer workout such as swimming and running, alternative relaxation exercise such as yoga, tai chi as well as meditation is also a good choice. For me, I would prefer meditation as I could do that at any time, any place. Easy and convenience.
Apart from the above, are you also a music lover and had a habit of having headphone on your ears all day long and even worse, if you tune the volume level to well over 60%. If that seems to be your situation, start taking steps to ease the impact this had on your tinnitus condition. Keep your volume at 30% and had your hearing taking a break after an hour of music. By giving your ears a chance to rest, you are also reducing the likelihood of tinnitus breakout.
Having touched on the triggering factors for tinnitus, let’s uncover some instant home remedy that you could easily adapt to “temporary” free yourself from that persistent ringing ears of yours. White noise approach. This is mainly to use another sound which is more pleasant than that irritating ringing noise to mask off the buzzing sound. There are many white noise masker devices in the market that you could purchase, ranging for ten over dollar to hundreds. For me, I can do with whatever available in my room. Turn on the radio or listening to soft classical music while sleeping does the trick. Cheap and proven to work.
You may have also heard that when you have inadequate sleep, fatigue will make your tinnitus condition worsen. The soft ringing sounds in your ears can turn into a roaring noise making a hell life for you. If tinnitus is causing you to have the sleepless night, try the white noise remedy which I had recommended. I’m pretty sure that you would feel the benefit.
Next in line, your working environment. Are you working in the office or production area (where machines are located)? Learn to protect your hearing can free you from ringing ears disorder. In an area, whereas the sounds dB is more than 85, earplugs or earmuffs ought to be used.
